Books in Order: A Closer Look at John Ringo’s Literary Oeuvre
John Ringo, hailed as a master of multiple genres, including science fiction, fantasy, military fiction, techno-thrillers, and political thrillers, has enriched the literary world with his vast collection of books. Ringo, an American author, draws his military fiction’s vividity not merely from an imaginative mind, but from his personal experiences serving in the U.S. Army and the Florida Home Guard. His unique contributions to literature include the Posleen War series, the Empire of Man series, and the Council Wars series among others.
After four intense years of active duty and an additional two years of reserve duty, Ringo expanded his horizons. He earned an Associate’s degree in Marine Biology, a field that, unfortunately, did not prove financially rewarding. Unfazed, Ringo turned to his love for literature and embarked on a new journey as a science fiction writer. Today, John is comfortably settled in Chattanooga, Tennessee, effortlessly weaving the magic of words.
Ringo’s writing took flight in the year 2000 with the release of his debut novel, A Hymn Before Battle. The book, an homage to Rudyard Kipling‘s poem Hymn Before Action, laid the first stone in the path of Ringo’s literary success. Here, we present John Ringo’s books in order of their original release. We believe that books in order provide remarkable insights into the author’s evolution and creative exploration.
