Deeply ingrained in the world of action and science fiction, Jerry Ahern (1946-2012) was an esteemed American author. He was heavily recognized for his remarkable post-apocalyptic series, The Survivalist. Yet, his writing career extended further – displaying his versatility, Ahern also produced captivating editorial content for respectable magazines such as Guns & Ammunition, Handgun, and Gun World. Notably, he collaborated often with his wife, Sharon Ahern – their partnership resulted in extraordinary narratives, enhancing his literature’s unique appeal. Ahern’s legacy was cut short due to his untimely passing in July 2012 from cancer.
