Known largely for her popular works such as the ‘Local Foods Mystery’, ‘Country Store Mystery’, ‘Quaker Midwife Mystery,’ and numerous others. In an intriguing twist, Maxwell’s unique life outside the literary world saw her at the helm of a charming certified-organic farm situated in Essex County, Massachusetts.
Aside from enthralling novels, Maxwell’s short stories have graced the pages of numerous anthologies and magazines, carving out a significant fan base. A member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, she currently holds the post of Vice President of SINC New England.
