Instead of heading to college or attending formal writing classes, Mary decided to teach herself the art of crafting stories. Since the tender age of four, she has been composing short stories. Among her most favoured authors are Ernest Gaines, Stephen King, Alice Walker, and James Patterson. Today, Mary is a proud resident of Oakland, California.
