Anna Jacobs, a combined treasure of English and Australian literature, is a prolific author recognized for her historical, romantic, and contemporary fiction, in addition to her ventures into the world of sci-fi and fantasy. Writing under her real name, Sherry-Anne Jacobs, as well as the pseudonym Shannah Jay, Jacobs is decorated with multiple awards and recognitions. The most noteworthy being her 2006 Australian Romantic Novel of the Year award for her acclaimed work, ‘Pride of Lancashire’. She can equally be appreciated for her other works, like the ‘Chronicles of Tenebrak’ series (as Shannah Jay) and the ‘Trader’ series. Despite relocating to Australia in 1973, Jacobs often makes returns to England, continuing to nurture her British roots and gather inspiration for her writings.
