Prior to publishing her debut, Engberg had an impressive career in the world of dance and choreography, where she made significant contributions to both television and theatre. Despite her thriving career in the performing arts, Katrine’s love for reading drew her towards literature. She taught herself English by poring through the masterpieces penned by Ruth Rendell, Dorothy Sayers, and Sue Grafton. Although writing had been a part of her life since her formative years, it took her a while to take the leap and commit to a full-time writing career. Engberg now lives in Østerbro with her family.
