American Novelist, William R. Forstchen, is renowned for his prowess in crafting riveting science fiction and gripping alternate history novels. His literary portfolio boasts multiple series including the “Lost Regiment” series, contributions to the “Riftwar,” “Star Trek,” “Magic: The Gathering,” and “Wing Commander” series. Notably, he also co-authors the “Civil War” series with Newt Gingrich.
Apart from being a novelist, Forstchen is also a well-respected Professor of History and Faculty Fellow at Montreat College, located in North Carolina. His record of scholarship extends from earning his doctorate from Purdue University, all the while majoring in Military History, American Civil War, and the History of Technology. Today, he calls an area near Asheville, North Carolina his home.
