Books in Order: The Unravelling of Rick Murcer’s Thrilling Tales
Acclaimed American crime thriller novelist, Rick Murcer, didn’t get his start in writing at a young age. In fact, it was only when faced with the adversity of losing his job, that Rick took a leap of faith into the world of suspenseful storytelling. This transition, as Rick himself admits, taught him more about himself than he was prepared for – ultimately enriching his craft. A devoted family man, Rick has remained happily married for a period that, humorously, his wife is reluctant to admit. Two children and three grandchildren add to the richness of his personal life and, perhaps, the depth and authenticity of his narratives.
Rick’s journey started with a humble short story, titled Herb’s Home Run, introduced into the literary world, originally, via the Writer’s Journal. He brought forth his crime thriller expertise in his debut novel, Caribbean Moon, in 2011. To appreciate Murcer’s expansive literary tales, it is essential to view his works, reproduced here, as the voluminous saga they truly are.
