Joan Holub, a distinguished American author, has crafted her name in the realm of children’s books. Pioneering with a degree in fine arts, she delved into the world of freelancing as an art director for a significant eight years. Amidst these years, she often daydreamed of authoring children’s books, leading her to relocate to NYC where she started her journey as an associate art director in a renowned scholarly publishing company. In the early 90s, Holub embarked on a journey of sending out her manuscripts, culminating in the sale of her first two books in 1996. Alongside Suzanne Williams, Holub co-wrote two successful series – Goddess Girls and Heroes in Training.
