Born and raised in America, Irene Hannon is a prolific author recognized for her deeply rooted Christian-themed contemporary romance and romantic suspense novels. With a passion for writing sparked at the tender age of 10, Hannon’s talent was acknowledged nationwide when she won a writing contest held for a children’s magazine. This initial taste of success paved the path for a career that would see her pen over 50 novels, becoming a three-time RITA award winner along the way, among numerous other accolades.
In addition to her writing career, Hannon’s rich background includes a B.A. in psychology, an M.A. in journalism, and executive roles in a Fortune 500 company. However, she left the corporate world behind to follow her passion and focus on writing full time. Off the pages, Hannon enjoys travelling, frequented coffee shops on Saturday mornings, and cherishing family time. She and her husband presently reside in Missouri.
